American & Import Auto Repair is presently hiring for a mechanic and service advisor for our Johnson City, TN auto repair shop. Our pay-scale and benefits package are well above industry standard. Our mission is to have the best automotive repair team, helping our clients with their vehicles.

Auto Repair Positions Currently Available

MECHANICS:

Must have own tools and at least 5 years of PAID work experience in all vehicle makes (foreign and domestic vehicles).
Applicant must have a valid TN driver's license at time of employment.
Applicant must have good desk-top computer, diagnostic scan tool education and great customer service skills.
We are looking for someone that takes pride in doing quality automotive repair, with the added bonus of being able to diagnose and repair quickly, the first time.
ASE Certification is preferred, and we will train and pay for Master status.
Our Johnson City independent auto repair shop has been servicing the Tri-Cities for over 20 years. So our reputation in the community is important to us. Our Clients trust us for all their car repair service and maintenance. We run a very clean, shop with 6 bays and are outfitted with all of the latest equipment.
You will enjoy a Drug and Tobacco free workplace. You won’t be sent home early from lack of work.

SERVICE WRITER/ADVISORS:

Must be able to effectively communicate with team, automotive representatives and especially our customers.
Must have a business oriented personality and some mechanical skills
Computer skills necessary (MS Office, email, etc.) - Our automotive software application will be discussed at the interview.
Be able to focus on the client and build positive relationships for customer retention.
Applicant must have a valid TN driver's license at time of employment.
